SPEND GOOD FRIDAY AT.... Werribee Mansion. Ok, so this is what we do for Easter as a family & 9 years later we still keep going back. We arrive on Friday with a scrumptious packed picnic & chilled champagne, joined by many of our friends & family. We check in to our room at the Mansion Hotel & Spa, then head out to the gardens & join the Cadbury Easter family picnic. Always great weather, heaps to see & do & the kids love the easter egg hunt. After a delightful BIG day (with very full tummies) we enjoy a swim in the Mansion's pool & enjoy a cocktail at the bar while the kids & Dad's play a game of Snooker. We wake up to a european hot brekky, a walk through the magnificent 10 hectares of manicured gardens (including the Victorian Rose  Garden) & enjoy the famous sculpture walk featuring award winning works from some of Australia's leading sculptors. 

A well deserved nanna nap follows. A facial & massage at the day spa. And then dinner at award winning Joseph's Restaurant. Mmmm mm. Off to bed. Brekky again (more food). A quick swim & a bit of chill time in the library, with a good book & a deck of cards. Then only a 5 minute walk down a dusty track to Shadowfax Winery for wood fired pizza's, a game of Bocci & a bottle or 2...or 3....or, anyway who's counting of local vino. Bliss. Perfection. All our friends keep coming back. We wouldnt miss it. You should come!
